A Royal Addition for the Home

Thank you for an amazing product and excellent service regarding the recent purchase I made for a copper Royale rain chain for my home. Living in the Midwest, we get our fair portion of rain and I was looking for something that would make good use of the rain but in a creative and efficient manner. A rain chain is the perfect missing piece that I was looking for. Since the Royale is considerably large in cup size, it was just the size I needed to handle the rain fall. This was the size I decided to purchase after speaking to the lady. She advised me to go with the largest cups they have available, which is the extra-large size. As per her advice, I made sure that my gutters were properly fitted and able to handle the rain chain. Once that passed, my rain chain was up just a short time later. It was pretty easy to install, no major work needed. In addition to the large cup size, the copper has a lovely weathered finish that gives it nice aged look. It is very thick and strong in quality and not flimsy at all. This is very important since I want these to hang from my home for a very long time. I’m pretty confident the rain chain will hold up for many years and that’s a reassurance I need. Its hanging just outside a small courtyard I have in the side of my home and it’s like an indulgence to go and sit outside and enjoy this during the rain storms. I have a lot of potted plants and flowers in that space so it all comes together so fittingly. I want to put a basin underneath so that it may serve as a birdbath since many birds gather around this area. It is definitely a design concept that can be used for any home and the price is worth it. I know it adds design value as well as utility for my home. You can’t go wrong with that. That is definitely a good investment and money well spent. Thanks again for a great product!

Kioshi Pure Copper Rain Chain

The Kioshi copper rain chain is a new introduction that possesses a Japanese charm and finesse characteristic of the dish like perimeter of the cups and long link sequence of the chain. The Kioshi is not your typical rain chain - it strikes a unique balance between the length of the long sequence of uniquely curved links and number of cups.  It offers a more visual demonstration as the cups are reduced in height and are wider in perimeter as well as a longer length of links in between giving you a visually enhanced experience of watching the rain fall travel down the length of the chain.

Rain Chains Enhance Your Homes Natural Setting

A simple reason why rain chains popularity has grown in an unprecedented way is that homeowners simply want to enhance their homes natural setting using solid, organic materials in a wholly modern way crafted with integrity. Rain chains not only settle gutter efficiency but it introduces an idea quite unique in the world of home improvement and design. It takes a simple approach and makes modern design happen in a way that is a new discovery for many.  With Japanese style as the muse, rain chains have taken on a whole new meaning incorporating designs that resonates with minds and exude a maverick freshness. Rain chains are designed using a variation of hues including powder coated colors, copper tones with some exceptional highlighted patina colors that are punctuated by compelling silhouettes, voluptuous textures, shapes and architectural details that create a sophisticated sense of rhythm.  Each rain chain design becomes a personal message to each person who possesses one. It rings a message of truth, formalizes a vision, celebrates creativity, and validates our taste.
Taking the rugged look as an example, more often we see a convergence of sophistication and a rugged aesthetic. With a patterned series of geometric lines in natural material such as timber, it is a pleasing and welcoming sight to incorporate metals into the mix to give it a refined look. The contrast is striking, especially when joined with a copper metal such as the Monarch Lotus pure copper rain chain as you can see below. As a natural metal, its glossy texture provides a fresh and balanced look to offset and break up any monotonous and colorless patterns while enhancing the overall natural setting.

Rain chain anchoring stake a Great Addition to Rain Chain Accessories

Rain Chain Anchoring Stake
Rain chains are fast gaining popularity worldwide and certain upcoming communities are making it mandatory for its residents to install a rain chain in place of an unattractive gutter downspout. The assorted cup and link style selection we show on our website gives our customer the option of choosing the perfect one which enhances the architectural accent of their home and at times our clients reach out to us to get our suggestions. We have been often asked how they can anchor the end of the rain chain to the ground, to prevent excessive swaying in the wind and perhaps eliminating the possible damage which may result from this. Time and again we have fielded this query, and realized we needed to fill this void and provide our customers with an option to address this.
Our design team developed a very functional rain chain anchoring stake for the aluminum rain chains as well as for copper rain chains. The swirl shaped heavy duty dark brown powder coated stake has a flat head to allow for a hammer to drive it into the ground or into bed rock or turf or grass – the options are unlimited. The swirl feature allows for better anchoring than the straight stake so we highly recommend the stake be carefully installed to ensure optimum functionality. The 12” copper loops attached to the stake are easy to attach to the last link of the rain chain, thereby anchoring it. We recommend the dark brown stake with copper links be paired with the copper rain chain.

I recently bought a copper Hibiki cup rain gutter chain for my front porch and just love the way it all came together. A few weeks back I had some minor work done in my front yard, a small scale project to make it come alive, I had placed some stepping stones in an area that led to a corner full of plants and assorted flowers. I mostly had my landscaper plant some nice looking green exotic plants and to top it off he added rocks to give it a finishing touch. It hadn’t occurred to me how a rain chain would make it appear even more beautiful until I saw some on a website as I was doing some online shopping. I wasn’t sure how the installation process would work or if my gutters would accommodate a rain chain. After doing some research, I saw some rain chains I liked on a website. I called the folks at www. monarchrainchains.com and spoke to a gentleman who answered questions I had. I wanted to make sure so it was important for me to talk to someone over the phone who actually deal with rain chains and who was in the business. I felt much more reassured after speaking to him and confidently placed my order over the phone. The man was patient and knew had a great deal of knowledge about the product and installation. That’s exactly what I needed. When my rain chain arrived I was really excited. It looks even more beautiful in person and is made of pure copper – not the plated variety some sites sell and it came with a gutter clip for installation and detailed instructions. I was impatient and couldn’t wait to get it installed. It’s been one week since it’s been up and can’t stop looking at it. I always look forward to pulling up my garage and getting a glance of it as I pull up. It brings a smile to my face. Thanks for a great product!

I just bought a few rain chains for my house as it is undergoing some construction especially the outdoor section of the home. I love to have friends and guests come over and having done this a long time, it was time to do some exterior work on the home. What started out as just a plan to fix faulty or worn out systems and appliances around the home slowly started progressing as a design concept. Since then, I’ve been looking for ideas to make the exterior look great and original. I have since added wood work as part of the outdoor entrance area. I got the idea of adding a rain chain when I saw a photo of one as I was browsing through a look book of outdoor design ideas. I love the contrast of the wood with the copper of the rain chain. I began looking through www.monarchrainchains.com website excitedly for rain chains designs that I could add around the wooden deck area. I saw the traditional link rain chain and felt it was the perfect match for my outdoor deck area. It is a simple design but that’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m incorporating a lot of natural elements and design concepts that conform closely to nature with a contemporary feel. The traditional link is definitely the contemporary vibe I wanted to incorporate. An added bonus was adding lighting around the area where I have the rain chain so that even during the night hours, the rain chain can still be visibly seen, making it a focal point and therefore not lose its design appeal at dark. The rain chain hangs over an area I designated as being part of a rock bed with beautiful green yucca plants. The area looks awesome and can’t wait for my family and friends to see it at my next gathering. Charlene White Spokane, WA
